These guys have recently been named the best Japanese restaurant in town and for good reason. Their sushi is always fresh and delicious and is really reasonably priced. Service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Great little local place that has been in business for years. Consistently good & fresh sushi rolls. Pleasant & relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff.

This place is North Kildonan's best kept secret! It is a beautifully decorated and very clean restaurant, with plenty of very good and comfortable seating. The service was very good, prompt, friendly, and attentive. The sushi is just absolutely delicious, so fresh! The miso soup was done just right and a perfect starter, the tempura was hot and fluffy and plentiful. My favourite was the mango sushi and also the Atlantic salmon roll, but the spicy tuna and the avocado roll were equally yummy. I loved this place so much, we will return frequently. Very reasonably priced too!

Decent food and wait times, place inside is clean and looks inviting to customers. I ordered once from here to go, and when i opened up my food things looked good except for a crab roll i ordered. The roll was very dry and the crab tasted old. It was pretty gross and i havent been here or ordered again ever since the incident. I wouldn't discourage people from coming here, but one bad experience can make a customer not return again.

We had such high hopes due to the good reviews and that they have a gluten free menu-- first the good: the service was attentive and the ambience was far nicer than I would have expected given the location and surroundings (it's in a fairly run down looking strip mall).
Now the reason for the two star rating: the rolls were absolutely TINY-- and the fish was almost microscopic. The gluten free "spicy" rolls were just regular rolls with a (too generous) squirt of sriracha sauce on top. I may be spoiled as I've dined at some amazing sushi joints in both NYC and LA-- but I currently live in very landlocked Minnesota and the sushi I've purchased at grocery stores and even in airports was far superior to this place.
My entire family LOVES sushi-- and we left after our first "round" of just 8 rolls (there's five of us-- 2 adults, 2 teens and a tween) and decided to dine elsewhere-- I can't think of a time that we've ever done so previously.
